Andrew White, Partner, HR Management

Andrew White has over 30 years of diverse experience in all aspects of business process and human resources, including infrastructure vision, strategy, management development, compensation, benefits and a unique sense of team chemistry.

Andrew is currently engaged with Merant Corporation, LuxN Corporation,,, JohnnyGrey Inc. and Tensor Engineering. Andrew was Vice President Corporate Resources at MAYAN Networks, responsible to the CEO for the development of the corporate infrastructure of this pre-IPO telecommunications equipment company including Staffing, Human Resources, IT and Facilities. Transitioned the organization from 6 person start up to 200 employees with multi site development and full sales/support structure. Sourced and recruited a management team that secured in excess of $160 million in funding. Subsequently reduced the company to 5 employees.

From 1968 through 1990, Andrew was at Amdahl and IBM, ultimately responsible for all aspects of Amdahl’s Human Resources function. He has:

  • Recruited and managed an outstanding team of professionals.
  • Initiated and implemented a comprehensive reduction in force with no litigation.
  • Designed creative benefit programs to meet a diverse set of employee needs

Andrew is a Graduate, Glasgow College of Commerce in the Institute of Personnel Management and has completed numerous IBM, Amdahl and commercial courses. He is co-author of two IBM Europe Personnel Research Papers
