Ed Lucente, Partner, Business Development

Mr. Lucente was Director of Financial Services and Energy Rebate Programs at Verari Systems where he developed marketing programs for data center efficiency. Mr. Lucente was in sales management with Mainline Information Systems, IBM’s largest business partner, focusing on selling IBM’s entire array of products and services to large financial services firms in New York.

Mr. Lucente was Vice President of Sales for Latin America at Minolta-QMS, the laser printer division of Konica-Minolta. His team managed distribution channels and sales, including marketing relationships with major U.S. distributors, such as Ingram-Micro and Tech Data.

Mr. Lucente has held a variety of sales and channels development positions at Network General in network and data communications software. At Oracle in database software, and at Liant Software in data access and middleware software. Mr. Lucente began his career with IBM as a Marketing Representative in Boston.

Ed is familiar with multiple high-tech disciplines, financial services, and the Latin culture and possesses significant Spanish language skills. Ed is a partner at Innovative Capital Ventures.
